Hey you! Thanks for stopping by my journal, it really is a privilege and an honour for me that you are interested in wanting to know what kind of freak you're dealing with lol

Below you will find a list of my various accounts and groups that I either Moderate or belong to. Now, about the beast within: I was born in Seoul, Korea and I am the youngest of seven children. My mother's heritage is Chinese/Korean and was born in Tokyo, Japan. My father's heritage is French/Spaniard and German/Italian. He was born in Brooklyn, New York.

My birth name was Damiano Alejandro DeSolis.
I was adopted at the age of nine by a wonderful German couple whom I call parents. And it has been since that I have gone by the name of Damien Alexander Wolffe. I have three sisters and two brothers with this set of parents.

I grew up in Seattle, Washington and after my father retired from the Air Force, we moved to Terre Haute, Indiana, his hometown. I later moved to Miami, Florida to attend college and I am now living in Champaign, Illinois.

As for school, I received an Associates in Culinary Arts and have been employed at various high name hotels and restaurants as a chef, but it just wasn't for me. My goal at the time was to graduate with a degree in ice carving, that dream went out the window! lol During my time in college, I had the opportunity to learn the concept and basics of art through courses like Art History, Art 101 and Art 102.

If you've browsed through my gallery you will notice that I am a budding photomanipulator. All that I have learned has been through the immense help of various artist here on dA and through all sorts of tutorials. My experience with the Photoshop 7 program is limited to about a total of a year and a half. And I am still learning!

Currently, I have an Associates as a Medical Technician and have worked in hospitals and nursing homes for several years. My feelings about it, it's a whole different perspective when one deals with life and death on a daily basis, it has made me appreciate every breath of air I inhale.

My plans to go back to school for Graphics Design this fall seems like a bright green light. If all goes well at work, with the schedule I'm wanting, then going back to school will be a possibility.
